New RA Centre pro Maxym Leclair not only ran a very successful 89 player tournament, but also won the Men’s Open title with a convincing 3-1 win over Pranav Sharma of Montreal. Youth was served in this tournament, as 16 year-old Tarun Balaraj upset the No. 1 seed in the final of the Men’s A in 5 hard fought games. Fourteen year-old Philippe Shillington won the Men’s D and the two Women’s events were won by 17 year-old Chloe Wren (Women’s A) and 15 year-old Abby Russell (Women’s C). In other action, veteran Rob Mulrooney won the Men’s B and Erez Paz the Men’s C titles.
