On November 20, 2016, under Maxym’s Leclair’s guidance, the University of Ottawa fielded both a Men’s and Women’s team for the first time in recent years at the Squash Ontario – OUAA Jesters Fall Crossover tournament in Kingston. The Men’s team, under Patrick Long (Capt), surprised everyone by beating both Laurier and Ryerson in the 10 team event. The Women’s team, captained by Dominique Smith (Capt), did not fare quite as well in their 8 team event, but gained invaluable experience.
Great to see Ottawa university squash teams in action again – congratulations to all.
