Congratulations to the Quebec #1 team of Alexandra Norman, Runa Reta, and Tara Newman, who beat the favoured Alberta team of Jackie Moss, Kelsey Souchereau, and Jaime Laird in the final of the 2017 Canadian Women’s Team Championship. Played at La Sportheque, January 6 – 8, the tournament attracted eight teams, with final standings as follows:
- Quebec 1
- Alberta
- Ontario
- Manitoba
- Saskatchewan
- Nova Scotia
- Quebec 2
- Canadian Armed Forces
Every team played 5 matches, so congratulations to the three unbeaten players. These were Runa Reta (Quebec 1), former World #29, who learned her squash in this area, current World #54 Nikole Todd (Saskatchewan) and Anika Alexander playing No. 3 for Manitoba. Chloe Wren (Quebec 2) of the host club also had a good tournament, winning 3 of her 5 matches.
