Congratulations to Jim Kenward who is one of the 2017 inductees into the Squash Ontario Hall of Fame. Jim is being inducted as a builder for his work in preserving and chronicling the history of squash in Ontario.
From the Squash Ontario website:
Jim Kenward, will be inducted as a builder. The Ontario Squash Hall of Fame has two specific missions – one is to honour those individuals who have made an enormous contribution to the game of squash in Ontario – and one is to preserve the history of the game. Jim has been an unofficial archivist for the game, searching and compiling important historical information, safeguarding them for generations to come.
Jim has been very active in documenting and preserving the history of squash in the ODSA region by compiling a thorough history of the ODSA, profiles of past and present players and compiling tournament results and summaries, all available on the ODSA website. On a personal note, I learned so much about the history of squash in the region while working with Jim on the History section for the new ODSA website.
Congratulations Jim. The ODSA greatly appreciates all that you have done for squash in our region. This honor is much deserved.
