Stephanie Bazin, RA Squash Club, on being elected to the Board of Directors of Squash Ontario. She discovered squash at university in France, and started playing in Ottawa at the Rideau Tennis Club in the late 1990s. She has been active with Squash Ontario’s Masters Committee for 2 years, helping to organize tournaments and road trips, with the ODSA Women’s City League for many years, and has been a member of Howe Cup teams. She brings more than 25 years of software engineering experience to the Board.
Janice Lardner, Past President of Squash Ontario, on receiving a Special Achievement Award for her tremendous contributions to the advancement of squash in this Province.
Ralph Shillington, Chair of the ODSA Junior Committee, on being presented with an Outstanding Achievement Award for his work in connection with junior tournaments, coaching and camps.
Lisa Coates, of Kingston and a frequent competitor here, on receiving the Barbara Cooper Award, for the enhancement of women’s squash.
David Morrish, past pro at the RA Centre and now in Windsor, on being presented with the Mark Sachvie Coaching Achievement Award.
