During the weekend of November 23-25, 2018, twenty-five vets played in the 35+, 55+, 60+, and 65+ events, with the oldest close to 75.
In the 35+, Stephane Lussier, who is one of Ottawa’s 20 top ranked players, outlasted fellow clubmate Clark Johnston in 4 games, full of running from corner to corner. In the 55+ RA’s Rob Mulrooney won a thriller 15-13 in the 5th, over Nepean’s Steve White
Pierre Rainville, of the Garrison Squash Club in Kingston, pulled off a hat trick, winning the 60+ for the third consecutive year over the same opponent, Rex Jung, who extended the match to 16-14 in the fifth game.
