Biography
Born in Latina, Central Italy, on December 26, 1989. Moved to Ottawa with his parents, at age of 4 months, and was later educated at both Mother Theresa and Hillcrest High Schools, and at the University of Ottawa. Started squash at age 12, under Johnny Wilson, at the Ottawa Athletic Club. Moved to Toronto in 2012, to be close to National Squash Academy (NSA), where he was coached by Jamie Hickox. He joined the Professional Squash Association (PSA) in 2008 and turned professional in 2009. Tragically, after a life devoted to squash, he was killed in a traffic accident, cycling to practice at the National Centre of Excellence at the NSA, on November 20, 2013.
Accomplishments
- Won the Province of Quebec Open Consolation in 2008
- Was the Canadian University and College Champion in 2010, while attending University of Ottawa
- Represented Canada at the World University Games in Melbourne, Australia, in 2010
- Won the Ontario Closed Singles title in 2012
- In 2012 he was ranked No. 9 in Canada
- In 2012 he was No. 139 in the PSA World Rankings
- Was a member of Squash Canada’s Espoir Squad
- Won the Ottawa & District Squash Association Cup in 2009 and 2010 – name changed in 2014 to Adrian Dudzicki ODSA Cup in memory of him
