Congratulations to Ottawa’s rising junior Iman Shaheen who recently won the Girls Under 19 division at the Squash Ontario Junior Closed held the weekend of Nov 22-24. Iman, who is only 14 years of age the #1 ranked Girls Under 15 player in Canada, dropped only a single game in her 3 matches. Congratulations Iman!
The 8th Bob Searle Masters Open took place at the RA Centre between November 22 and 24, with 20 competitors spread over the 50+, 60+, and 65+ Divisions. Between October 31 and November 3, Wallace Squash hosted the $12,000 PSA Women’s event, two other women’s events, and four men’s events, at the Goodlife-Queensview Club.
