The RA Centre will be hosting a Junior program this fall from 28 September, to 7 December.
Main coaching sessions will be on Saturday mornings, with additional practice time available on Thursday evenings.
$200 for RA Squash Members, and $250 for non-members.

The ODSA is happy to announce that it has chosen Ibrahim Ghani as Ottawa’s Top Squasher of the year for 2023.
The RA Summer Open took place on the last weekend of July. With 45 players it was an impressive turn out with a solid contingent from out of town.

Congratulations to Ottawa’s 18 year-old Iman Shaheen on being selected for the Canadian team going to the World Junior Team and Individual Championships in Melbourne, Australia, next month (18-29 July).
Good squash news. The University of Ottawa has made squash an official
varsity sport. U Ottawa has long had a squash club but it did not have official university
backing akin to lacrosse, soccer, volleyball and other teams. This year, however, U
Ottawa has made squash a competitive team, Gee-Gees Squash Club, on par with
other traditional varsity sports.

On August 25, the Ottawa squash world lost one of its finest coaches and organizers. Ron Hughes grew up in Calgary, graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago, and became a PE teacher in his hometown.
